Waitārere Beach Road Curves
Work on the Waitārere Beach Road Curves Realignment project ceased in 2017, following community feedback and in order to align with the overall Ōtaki to north of Levin project.
The current SH1 Levin to Foxton safety improvements project was developed more recently, with close community engagement. There are currently no plans to proceed with the original Waitārere Beach Road Curves Realignment project.
