If you have travelled on a toll road within the last 5 working days, you can pay for your tolls by going to the ‘Purchase Pay & Go Toll(external link)’ section of our website. It is free to pay online. You'll need the registration plate of the vehicle.
You can also pay by cash, eftpos or credit card at selected service stations. A transaction fee of $1.20 per transaction will apply.
We also accept Visa and MasterCard payments via our contact centre. A service fee of $3.70 to purchase Pay & Go tolls will apply.
If you've travelled recently but not within the last five working days, we still recommend entering your registration plate into the ‘Purchase Pay & Go Toll(external link)’ section of our website to check if the toll is still available for payment. If it is, you can go ahead and make payment for it.
If the toll is not showing in the ‘Purchase Pay & Go Toll(external link)’ section of our website, we may have issued a Toll Payment Notice to the registered person of the vehicle. If you have not received this notice, it could still be in the post. You have 28 days from the issue date on the notice to pay.

If a vehicle registered to you travels on a toll road and payment isn’t received within five working days, you may receive a toll payment notice. If you weren’t the driver of the vehicle, you are able to transfer liability to the driver by completing a Statutory Declaration form [PDF, 186 KB].
The minimum information we need for the new driver is their full name and postal address. If this information is not included we will be unable to process your form.

No, due to the high number of transactions in and out of our bank account, we do not accept direct credit payments.
POLi (internet banking) is a secure integrated system that interacts with our tolling system directly and allows payment via your bank’s website. This allows your transaction to be completed in real time in a secure environment.
Yes they do expire. Any Pay & Go tolls purchased between 31 July 2015 and 31 March 2023 are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
Pay & Go tolls purchased on or after 1 April 2023 are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
If your have purchased Pay & Go tolls and will not use them prior to the expiry date, they can be refunded here(external link).

If you receive an email from us saying "Your trip pass is expired", a toll trip you bought hasn't been used and has now expired. This can happen if you bought more trips than you needed, or we couldn't read your plate number correctly to apply the credit. Once trip credit expires, it can only be refunded to the person who bought it.
If you receive a message stating the purchase could not be found; this could be because your Pay & Go toll purchase has expired; has already been refunded or the tolls have been used.
If you believe this is not the case, please contact us.
Pre-purchased tolls will not transfer from your old vehicle to your new vehicle automatically. If you have pre-paid tolls you can get a refund of these here(external link).

No, the Pay & Go toll product is a casual product and the Transport Agency is unable to provide a reconciliation service.
