Toll payment notices

Avoid the extra charge by paying your toll before or straight after using a toll road.

If you use a toll road and don’t pay your toll within 5 working days, we'll send you a Toll payment notice. It'll have details of the trip and the amount to pay. This includes an administration fee of $4.90 per notice issued.

We send the notice to the registered person of the vehicle. You’re responsible for making sure we have your current address.

You have 28 days to pay

You have 28 days from the issue date on the notice to pay.

If you haven’t received a notice, it could still be in the post.

You can pay your notice online with a Visa/MasterCard credit or debit card or your internet banking details (POLi).

You can't pay a notice with cash.

If you don’t pay, we'll send your debt to our debt collection agency.

What to do if you weren’t driving

If you’ve received a toll payment notice, but weren’t the person driving, you can complete and send us a statutory declaration form.

The minimum information we need for the new driver is their full name and postal address. If this information isn’t included, we can’t process your form. We must receive this form within 28 days of the issue date stated on your toll payment notice.

You still have to pay even if you don't get the notice

Road signs clearly show you’re on a toll road and that you have 5 working days to pay it.
