You may have noticed that we've changed how the intelligent transport systems (ITS) design standard and delivery specification (S&S) documents are presented online.
While developing the new ITS S&S framework, we have taken users’ feedback on board and improved the webpage to make it easier for people to find ITS S&S documents. The pages have been restructured and provide additional details to give users clarity on the versions of the documents.
The current, interim and legacy S&S documents are located together, and you can now clearly see the most recent version of documents and if a previous version is available.

Superseded S&S documents are now under a new archived section that shows when the document was issued and when it was superseded.

For planning and procurement purposes, please refer to the ITS current, interim and legacy S&S page. Archived documents are available as a historical record and should not be used on new projects.
