The Specification for managing bitumen quality has been developed to set out the standard processes required by Waka Kotahi so that assurance can be provided that bitumen of acceptable quality is imported into New Zealand and applied to road pavement surfacings. It forms part of, and is cited by Waka Kotahi bitumen specifications M01 and M01-A.
