Publication details for the 4th edition of the CoPTTM
The Code of practice for temporary traffic management (CoPTTM) is Part 8 of the Traffic Control Devices manual. It is the standard reference for all temporary traffic management on state highways and local roads.
The 4th edition of the CoPTTM was available for use from 1 August 2012. It became mandatory on 1 November 2012.
After 1 November 2012 parties to existing contracts signed using the 3rd edition were able to continue to apply the 3rd edition, or both parties by mutual agreement were able to move to the 4th edition.
