This booklet gives tips for having conversations with senior drivers about driving and transport options. It is for anyone, including seniors, who want to open a conversation with a senior friend or family/whānau member.
Health care professionals (GP or nurse) or community support workers who are working in a professional capacity, may also find the information in this booklet useful.
It’s important to keep in mind that most senior drivers of cars and motorbikes are very experienced and safe drivers, making them great role models for younger drivers.
From 15 June 2024 you’ll be able to order our new Supporting senior drivers resource.
