This guide clarifies the roles, responsibilities and relationships of the client team, project sponsor, project manager, audit team and audit team leader.
Safe System audits procedures must be applied for all relevant improvement and renewal projects with funding from the 2021–24 National Land Transport Programme (NLTP). See the Planning and Investment Knowledge Base information for full details:
