This specification and guidence notes set out the requirements and maintenance standard for unsealed shoulders, both gravel and grassed, including feather edges, tapers and surface water channels where adjacent pavement is sealed. This specification will be withdrawn in 2011 as it has been replaced by HM16 Shoulder Maintenance. However, if TNZ C10 is referred to in existing contract documents then you may continue to use it.
