This specification sets out the requirements for maintenance of a road network that is at risk of snow and ice events to ensure the required road availability and levels of service are achieved during winter. This specification HM10 Winter maintenance replaces specification TNZ C22 Specification for winter maintenance. However, if TNZ C22 is referred to in existing contract documents then you may continue to use it.
