Audio tactile profiled road markings

This specification and guidance notes apply only to audio tactile profiled (ATP) road markings. These road markings include rumble strips and provide all three of audio and tactile (vibratory) and visual information to road users. ATP road markings used on the state highway must be on the current list of type approved markings. ATP markings that have current approval in terms of M/24 for use on state highways are listed in M/24 notes.
