Engagement is a necessary part of every project, programme or initiative. This is not only because of minimum requirements in statutory and legislative law or our policies and programmes, but because the work we deliver is for our customers, our communities and people across New Zealand.
As required by our designation conditions for the Southern Links project, we have community liaison groups for Southern Links in the Waipā District and the Waikato District. The purpose of a community liaison group is to provide a means to update the community on progress and allow for the discussion of any issues or concerns.
As an organisation, we are committed to creating and maintaining collaborative relationships and using best practice to engage.
