The Southern Path is a 4.5km shared path alongside Auckland’s Southern Motorway between Takanini and Papakura interchanges that opened in May 2021. Enthusiasts and locals alike will be stoked to learn the connecting SH1 Papakura to Drury project will include a 4km extension of the path from Papakura down to Drury interchange, as part of the New Zealand Upgrade Programme investing $8.7 billion to get our cities moving, save lives and boost productivity.
