As our teams continue their preparations to build a 124m-long bridge across SH25A in Coromandel, did you know large parts of it are already being built off-site?
While this sort of bridge usually takes 12-14 months to construct, we’re aiming to have SH25A open by the end of March 2024. So to speed things up, we’re using off-the-shelf designs that can be partly-built off-site, allowing us to work through the tough winter conditions, and open the road in the shortest time possible.
And for many of the team involved in the SH25A effort, it’s personal.
