Safety is a top priority and a lack of safe passing and overtaking opportunities is identified as a problem along the Twin Coast Discovery Highway.
Investigations looked at more rest areas, passing opportunities and safe turning zones.
Funding at this stage is limited to the development of the business cases. Further funding is required for implementation.
