Piles on the western river bank that will carry he platform construction crews will use to build the new bridge from. A section of cycle path that will run below the eastern side of the new bridge and link to the Clutha Gold cycle trail. A temporary road being formed to carry State Highway traffic highway traffic to the existing bridge, this will allow new bridge related work on SH8 past the Beaumont Hotel.
