Meet Whetu o Te Rangi, one of the project’s wonderful team of Tangata Tiaki/Cultural Monitors. Alongside his colleagues from Te Ara o Te Ata partner Ngāti Tama, Whetu is onsite daily supporting our construction and environmental teams in the collective effort to deliver a safer, more resilient and reliable section of SH3, while helping to ensure the iwi’s values are woven into the fabric of the project.
