Section 2: Sod turning
A good crowd turned out to watch the Minister and Associate Minister of Transport turn the sod for stage 2 of Te Ara Ki Uta Ki Tai. Construction is set to begin in mid-August, with section 2 being the longest of the 7km path which connects Auckland's eastern suburbs with the city centre.
