During November and December 2019, we asked the public for feedback on the best locations to add more safe and effective passing opportunities on the State Highway network between Napier, Gisborne and Ōpōtiki on State Highways 2 and 35.
A set of potential sites for passing opportunities have already been identified, and the public were asked for their ideas on other sites that would be suitable for passing opportunities.
Feedback closed on Friday, 20 December 2019. However you can see what others have to say on our interactive online map.
