This work is part of a nationwide project called the Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme (CVSP), formally known as Weigh Right, which is developing an integrated network of cameras, weigh-in-motion scales and safety centres covering strategic routes across New Zealand.
The programme aims to ensure a level playing field for the industry, encourage compliant vehicle productivity, and improve road safety through targeted enforcement.

In Auckland, we will be installing weigh-in-motion technology at five sites in the Port area. This will include weigh scales and cameras (WIM) and overhead electronic signage (VMS).
This schedule will be updated as more dates are confirmed. Please note this work is weather dependent and dates advertised may change.
Update (2 October): We are excited to announce the projects at Grafton Bridge, Symonds Street and Stanley Street are almost complete. The final stage will require a few night shifts to connect and test the equipment.
