Expenditure on formed or unformed dedicated roads giving access to the sub-divisional roading is eligible for funding assistance. Supplementary funding should be considered in these cases.
The maintenance and renewal of sub-divisional roads is eligible for funding assistance after their dedication to the approved organisation.
Sub-divisional roads normally are dedicated to Approved organisations and become part of the local roading network. Networks must be planned, constructed, operated and maintained in accordance with the technical documents in Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency's Register of network standards and guidelines and linked Register process manual.
