Programming support provides a signal around the urgency to address the issues identified in the strategic case to assist programming of improvements to address the issues.
Is the identified strategic case significant in relation to GPS time frames, ie a significant issue/opportunity exists and has significant impacts on transport system users within 3, 10, or 10+ years ?
Programming support is guided by the Long Term View that contains the currently known nationally significant transport issues and the time horizon of when these issues impact on users.
