Waka Kotahi has updated the Land Transport Benefits Framework and published a new version of the Land Transport Benefits Framework measures manual. This was previously called the Non-monetised benefits manual – we’ve changed the name to better reflect the content and purpose of the manual.
The key changes to the benefits framework are adding and refining measures in the Resilience and security and Environmental sustainability transport outcomes to incorporate the requirements of the government’s Emissions Reduction Plan (ERP) and National Adaptation Plan (NAP).
We’ve also published a new Frequently asked questions about the Land Transport Benefits Framework page on our website, which includes more detail about these changes.
Changes are currently being made to Transport Investment Online (TIO) to align with the updated benefits framework.
