The NZ Transport Agency says Auckland motorists should ditch their cars tomorrow to help ease the expected pressure on the motorway network due to bus drivers industrial action.
There will be some disruption for drivers on the Northern Gateway Toll Road (State Highway 1) next week (22 February – 25 February) because of important maintenance and safety work inside the Johnstone Hill Tunnels.
The Victoria Park Tunnel (State Highway 1) will be closed to all traffic for several nights next week while important maintenance and safety work is carried out.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated.
