Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that the Taipā Bridge will not open to two lanes this afternoon as planned, due to wet weather in the Taipa area which has delayed sealing work.
The Transport Agency hopes to be able to open the bridge to two lanes tomorrow, but this will depend on the ability of contractors to carry out lane-marking work overnight.
A further update will be provided on Friday morning.
The Transport Agency thanks people for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience caused by this weather-related delay.
