The NZ Transport Agency confirms that SH25 at Ruamahunga Bay is now open to one lane of traffic.
A 30km/h speed restriction is in place and the route can only carry one lane of traffic so it is being managed by stop/go traffic control at all times.
NZTA Regional Operations Manager Trevor Fearnley asks that motorists take extra care when traveling through the slip site.
