The NZ Transport Agency is advising road users to expect significant delays in both directions on State Highway 2 at Melling due to a crash at the intersection with Block Road.
As a result of the crash, traffic signals are currently not working. Southbound traffic is being diverted via Block Road, while northbound traffic is down to one lane.
It is not clear when the traffic signals will be back up and running. Road users should expect delays or use an alternative route.
The NZ Transport Agency wants to thank road users for their understanding and patience.
