The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that State Highway 26 (Hamilton to Morrinsville) is closed due to a serious crash near Harbottle Road.
Emergency services are at the scene and detours are being set up. An update with information about the detours will be sent out shortly.
The road is expected to be closed for a few hours and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
