State Highway 6/Main Road Hope has reopened following a serious crash earlier this evening.
The highway is now fully open to traffic in both directions.
NZTA/Waka Kotahi thanks drivers for their patience and cooperation while emergency services and road crews attended tonight’s incident.

State Highway 6/Main Road Hope is closed south of Richmond this evening following a serious crash.
The highway is closed to traffic between Bateup and White Roads.
Emergency services and road crews are attending the incident. Diversions are in place.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area, delay their journey, or use an alternate route.
