The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that a section of State Highway 30 (SH30) at Te Teko in the Bay of Plenty is CLOSED due to a crash.
Emergency services are at the scene near the intersection of Tahuna Road and drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
A detour via SH30, Te Teko Rd, SH2, Hydro Road and back onto SH30 is in place for eastbound traffic and vice versa for vehicles heading west.

SH30 Te Teko is now OPEN.
