The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists travelling on State Highway 1 and 1B, near Cambridge this month to expect short delays, as work on the Waikato Expressway continues.
Stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH1B on February 11, 12 and 13 as contractors work on the south side of the Victoria Road interchange.
A speed restriction of 30km/h and stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH1 between Pencarrow and Hautapu Roads on Thursday February 12 from 7pm until 5.30am the following day.
The temporary changes will allow contractors to remove barriers ahead of works to prepare to connect SH1 to the new expressway at Duncan Road.
The Transport Agency thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while work on the Cambridge section of the Waikato Expressway continues.
