The Transport Agency advises that there are delays on State Highway 2 between Te Maunga (Baypark) and the Domain Road roundabout due to road surfacing works.
The resurfacing is part of planned works this week for the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) project.
The delays affect eastbound traffic travelling towards Papamoa from Tauranga.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time this morning while travelling through the area.
The Transport Agency apologises for any inconvenience and thanks motorists for their patience and understanding while work on the TEL continues.
