The Transport Agency vehicle inspection portal (also known as the eVIRM or eVIRM portal) is a one-stop-shop for vehicle inspection information and is aimed at inspecting organisations and vehicle inspectors .
The portal contains all vehicle inspection requirements manuals (VIRMs), quality management system (QMS) documents, performance review system (PRS) manuals, newsletters, application forms and many other documents and links related to vehicle inspection and certification.
The Transport Agency vehicle inspection portal provides access to all vehicle inspection requirements manuals (VIRMs) and other information used by vehicle inspectors and certifiers, such as for warrant of fitness or certificate of fitness inspections. If you are going to be a frequent user of the portal, you may wish to save the portal home page in your web browser’s favourites folder or on your desktop. If you use only one VIRM, eg you only issue WoFs, go to the home page, click on relevant certification type, and save that page to your favourites or desktop. You can still easily access all non-WoF information.
The portal has been designed so that it is intuitive and easy to navigate. If you do need some help, we have developed a user guide(external link) which contains information about basic navigation as well as some tips and tricks to help you get the most out of the portal’s information.
