The $1.5 million intersection upgrade at River Road and Horotiu Bridge Road in the Waikato District has transformed a high-risk, stop-controlled T-intersection to a single-lane urban roundabout. Speed was also reduced to 60km/h on approaches to nearby Horotiu bridge.
