How we’re preparing to take over safety cameras from NZ Police
We’re setting up new systems and processes to take over traffic safety cameras from NZ Police, including those cameras owned by other road controlling authorities (RCAs) and the processing of offences. Over the next 12 to 24 months, we’re working with NZ Police to take over:
NZ Police will continue to be responsible for managing offences detected by officers, including speed and red light offences.
