Standard centre-lines
Profiled centre-lines:
- may be used in similar situations to those described in edgelines;
Edgelines
- should use 200mm wide ribs on 100mm wide centre-lines;
- should have ribs spaced at 250mm intervals; and
- may be used alongside central road safety barriers to help prevent barrier strikes and reduce maintenance costs.

No-passing lines
Refer to standard no-passing lines for standard no-passing line marking details.
Standard no-passing lines
Profiled no-passing lines may be used instead of standard lines:
- where profiled centre-lines are installed; and
- in similar situations to those described in edgelines.
