After an assessment has been completed, the safety assessor submits a written report to the licence holder that considers:
The assessment report will provide details of non-compliance and make recommendations for safety improvements, which are referred to as ‘findings’.
Before the final report is issued, you will receive a draft report you can provide feedback on. If you have questions or would like to clarify misunderstandings on the part of the safety assessor, you should provide comments before the consultation closing date.
When you receive the final assessment report, you should read it carefully. It will contain information that will help you improve your safety.
For each finding in the report, you’ll need to start planning to make changes and be able to provide evidence before the stated due date. We need to be able to confirm the requirements have been met before we can close each finding.
