Transport Outcomes Framework

Aligned with the Living Standards Framework, the Transport Outcomes Framework identifies resilience and security as one of five key outcomes to improve people’s wellbeing and the liveability of places. This outcome is defined as: minimising and managing the risks from natural and human-made hazards, anticipating and adapting to emerging threats, and recovering effectively from disruptive events.

The 30-year strategy for infrastructure outlines the objective of: Strengthening resilience to shocks and stresses by taking a coordinated and planned approach to risks based on good-quality information.
