We have completed the following inventory asset structures: Luminaires, Traffic Control Devices and Railings. The output files for these asset classes are now available.
The output files for these asset classes are available on this AMDS website
There is a 4-week feedback cycle, to incorporate any updates or changes to attributes values before being prototyped. Please email us your feedback.
We are currently in the process of finalising the feedback from our previous release, and our expectation is to publish this within the next 2 weeks.
The Lifecycle of Pavement asset classes will be released end of October to incorporate feedback from the sector and includes: Treatment Length and Treatment Selection (as part of the Forward Works Programme), Faults, Severity, Condition, Standardising dispatch of information.
Capturing the lifecycle of assets enables us to monitor trends in impacts, service performance or asset condition to inform the planning and implementation of the right activities, at the right place, at the right time.
We will continue to build out data classes that support the operation of our network in collaboration with the sector.

We recently held the Multi-modal Network Webinar.
The webinar introduced the Multi-modal framework concept as a steppingstone to a digital future providing a network model to better understand customer levels of service.
The purpose of the session was to raise awareness of the framework, generate discussion and use cases from the audience to ascertain how current challenges can be supported and what are the limitations. With the framework being at concept stage, this will develop over time with ongoing sector feedback encouraged.

Many thanks to the presenters:
The Asset Management Data Standard programme is aligned with several Waka Kotahi and REG programmes including the Consistent Condition Data Collection (CCDC) project.
CCDC reviews the value, attributes and methods that we collect around the condition of pavement and surfacing, agreeing the pavement and surfacing condition data to be collected for measuring, analysis, reporting asset and network conditions, including the effective means of collecting the data; and implementation across New Zealand.
The project includes the development of a business case for a consistent approach to collecting pavement and surfacing condition data for all local authority sealed roads.
AMDS will incorporate the project outcomes by structuring the metadata that is required to meet CCDC requirements.
The CCDC indicative business case has been endorsed by REG and Waka Kotahi. As a part of developing the detailed business case, REG is seeking input from the sector. This will be carried out in a staged approach and will be used to develop an overall preferred option.
