Implementation of the Asset Management Data Standard (AMDS) is led by Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs). This recognises that RCAs are different and have individual operating environments. It also provides RCAs with flexibility about how they manage their AMDS implementation.
As with other transport activities, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency will part fund the costs of implementation from the National Land Transport Fund.
