If your motorcycle breaks down:
- indicate and steer your motorcycle to a safe place off the road
- turn on your hazard lights or use a reflective warning triangle to warn others and let them know you need help
- if you don’t have a cellphone and it’s not safe to walk, wait for help
- don’t stand in the road
- if you need help from other drivers, leave plenty of space for them to stop.
If your motorcycle breaks down on a motorway:
