Trespasser accidents represent a major proportion of deaths and injuries on New Zealand’s railway corridor. This report looks at the trends in trespasser accidents in the past decade to guide strategies for reducing their incidence. The report begins with an analysis of the Land Transport Safety Authority database, followed by an analysis of the Coroners' database.
