The Procurement centre of excellence at Waka Kotahi conducted a survey of the infrastructure supply chain to identify potential challenges and constraints in recommencing our physical works programme and returning to full maintenance operations as NZ moved from COVID-19 Alert Level 4 back down to some form of business as usual.
We also want to understand what resource challenges may occur in coming months, and whether access to resources could inhibit an accelerated or expanded delivery programme.
The report presented here contains our initial findings with all commercially sensitive data removed. We have conducted follow up with some respondents where we sought to better understand how Waka Kotahi can best support industry.
