Strategic spatial views outline our understanding and view about future growth and development in New Zealand’s large urban areas to help inform decision making and future work programmes.
They help provide an evidence-based position to test and provide confidence in land use assumptions being reflected in major projects and understand investments decisions from a national investment perspective. This ensures the work we do is well-informed, up-to-date, and supports broader transport and urban development goals.
We have completed strategic spatial views for the Auckland and Wellington regions. Future spatial views will be posted here as they are completed.
