Rockfall hazard rating procedure

Published: | Category: Guidance for specialists | Audience: Advice and assistance

Originally published as part of the annual plan instructions (SMO18), the rockfall hazard rating procedure, also known as the RHRS (rockfall hazard rating score) or 'RHR score', has been moved to the geotechnical resources.

The procedure describes how slopes are to be assessed to obtain a RHR (rockfall hazard rating) and includes the input data and recording forms. Forms should be completed when required by the 3-Year Plan instructions (SMO18) or when specifically requested by Waka Kotahi.
