Preferences, survey and analysis methodologies have changed since the last study into parameter values (measurable factors) was carried out and this study provides updated values for travel times, travel time reliability (last surveyed in 2001), and safety (last surveyed in 1990). The implications of adopting these new values are being assessed by Waka Kotahi, the Ministry of Transport and The Treasury.
