The main purpose of this project is to identify appropriate traffic and loading data for use in RAMM, other pavement management systems (PMS) with treatment selection algorithms and for pavement deterioration models. Also to meet the needs of pavement designers in the estimation of pavement loading over the life of a project, by establishing ESA2 relationships from a variety of commonly used survey approaches and continuous data sources currently available in New Zealand.
