Quality standard TQS1

Transit has adopted a two level concept where contracts involving road construction, road maintenance, and structures activities are assigned a quality assurance level High (TQS1) or Normal (TQS2). The standard were originally issued in 1995. It has been updated and re-issued as Second Edition: June 2005. The minimum quality system requirements for state highway physical works contracts assessed at the high quality assurance level. It requires third party certification by an approved certification body.
