This specification sets out the requirements for repairs to the pavement structure in flexible pavements, where a digout is required. This specification will be withdrawn in 2011 as it has been replaced by HM12 Digouts for work on the state highway. However, if TNZ C4 is referred to in existing contract documents then you may continue to use it. Alternatively you could use MR09 Pre-surfacing repairs if you plan to include all of the following specifications in a single surfacing contract: C4, C5, C6, C7 and C8.
