Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA)

The Transport Agency has commissioned legal opinion and developed a summary of the HSWA for the industry [PDF, 295 KB].

Changes to the Code of practice for temporary traffic management (CoPTTM) will be notified via a technical note which will be available on the CoPTTM pages of the Transport Agency website by 30 April 2016.

Event management resource

The Transport Agency, in consultation with event management specialists, have developed an event management resource.

The resource includes:

• Example traffic management diagrams
• Example traffic management plan
• Example safety plan 2016
• Example H&S risk management register 2016
